Yehewin – “Breath”

At Yehewin, we believe that breath is life—and sleep is healing. Our name, Yehewin, means “Breath” in Cree, and it reflects the core of everything we do. Founded by a Cree family from Northern Alberta, we proudly serve communities across Mother Earth, offering culturally grounded support for those living with sleep apnea.

Breathing is sacred. It connects us to our bodies, our ancestors, and the land. When sleep is disrupted by conditions like sleep apnea, it affects not just physical health, but mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. That’s why we created Yehewin—to bring better sleep, and better breath, to our people.

We believe that access to quality sleep health should be available to everyone, regardless of background, location, or walk of life. We are here to support all people, offering a welcoming space where everyone can find the care and support they need to live healthier lives.

We’re more than a distributor of CPAP machines and equipment. We are advocates for wellness, working to close gaps in care and bring modern sleep health services to even the most remote communities—with empathy, respect, and deep cultural understanding.
